“Politics of Love”

The third illustration I’ve created for Pomp & Circumstance magazine, this one for their 5th issue. George Kokkinidis of Design Language designs the magazine, and has been asking me to do some designs for the last two issues.
The article was called “Politics of Love” and was about how politicians basically woo their constituents into voting for them.
So in our thought process we considered candy hearts and political campaign signs and combining the two in some way... and then we ended up with some amalgam of the phrasing too!
