“The Play on Religion”

The fourth illustration I’ve created for Pomp & Circumstance magazine, this one for their 5th issue. George Kokkinidis of Design Language designs the magazine, and has been asking me to do some designs for the last two issues.
The article was called “The Play on Religion” and was about the interconnectedness of religion in sports in the southern United States. George had the idea to spoof Leonardo’s The Last Supper and put everyone in jerseys and caps. I added the idea that all their shirts say “South University.”
